21.Oct.2009 Keep on Praying

Isaiah 62:1 (NLT): “Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn, and her salvation blazes like a burning torch.”

As Christians, we are to never stop praying. We cannot remain silent for God’s people. We cannot remain silent for the people that need us. We must keep praying until salvation blazes like a burning torch. The best prayer list you can ever have is the list of contacts in your phone. All you need to do is scroll down the list and pray for every person on it and the ones they love or you can make groups of people and choose witch group you should pray for that day. It’s easy, and contact lists come with almost all phones. The more contacts you have in you phone, the more people you are able to pray for.

We are a part of God’s body. He is the head, and we are the body. The head does all of the thinking, but the body carries out the actions. What good is a body without a head? If we do not act upon the Word of God, nothing will happen. The church will stay where it is; not moving, and honestly, not in a very good place. We cannot stay stagnant, unmoving. Staying stagnant does the world no good.

We are all human. We each have our own problems and deficiencies. When you bring your deficiency into God’s storehouse (the Church), everything comes together, and you’re submerged in love and forgiveness. This is what the House of God is for. We are to bring our love and forgiveness and mercy into one big melting pot of love and forgiveness and mercy. We are not called to judge; we are called to spread love wherever and whenever it is needed. We need to be loving and forgiving and merciful for those who need us the most. It is a sad fact indeed that many Houses of God these days are judgmental and disrespectful toward those who are going through trials in life. This is what drives people away from God. Everyone needs to bring something into the storehouse once they have been healed. You cannot just take, take, take. It is not fair for those who are coming after you, those who need it the most.
