The Tigris River is the 3rd branch of the water source found in the Garden of Eden. It’s name means sharp, distinctive sound and rapid movement. God wants to take us on a journey and is usually gracious to us, mindful of our humanity, and slowly allows us to learn His will, molding and shaping us gently yet firmly. The second river is the River Gihon–the river of anointing. The River Gihon branches off the River Pshon – favor and blessing stay within God’s anointing and presence. King David’s son, Solomon, was anointed king at the river Gihon with oil, to symbolize the presence of God in his reign.
